Kyoho Grape Kakigori Syrup
Japan's premium dark grape variety — rich, intense, instantly recognizable
| Format | 2 glass bottles of 600ml each |
| Type | Bar-style concentrate — dilute 1:3 or pour direct over shaved ice |
| Flavor profile | Rich, dark, slightly tannic — unmistakably Kyoho in character |
| Season | Late summer — Kyoho harvest peaks August to September |
| Compatible with | All kakigori machines, electric and manual |
| Origin | Made in Japan |
Kyoho is Japan's most prized table grape: large, dark-skinned, intensely sweet, with a depth of flavor that ordinary grape varieties do not approach. This professional bar-style concentrate captures that character faithfully — the same format used in Japanese bars and kakigori shops. The result reads as genuinely grape-forward rather than synthetic, with a slight tannic quality that adds complexity.
Best served without condensed milk to let the grape flavor carry the bowl on its own.
Best combinations
- Kyoho solo: the flavor is complete without toppings — just ice and syrup
- Kyoho + lychee drizzle: dark fruit meets floral — an unusual and compelling contrast
- Kyoho + shiratama: chewiness of mochi against the vivid grape flavor

Gerald A. A little bit expensive but we found here a wonderful selection of rare syrup for our restaurant.
