Pouring syrup by tilting a 600ml bottle directly over a kakigori bowl gives no control over the amount and risks over-saturating the ice. This 35cc stainless steel ladle is the standard tool used in Japanese kakigori shops: fill it once from the syrup bottle, pour it over the first layer of ice, refill, pour again over the top. Two ladles per bowl is the standard pour for a 600ml Captain syrup bottle.

The hook on the handle allows it to rest on the rim of the syrup bottle between pours, keeping your counter clean. The 18-8 stainless steel construction is corrosion-resistant and dishwasher-safe. The compact size (19.5cm) fits easily in an apron pocket for stall and market service.
